Tea is an indie/folk side project by musician Luna Kelly, better known by their rapping persona Atlas. Singer/songwriter Kelly started the project in 2014 under the moniker Dubstep for Dads, and released two EPs under that name. The project would go on to be known as Secret Handshake during late 2014 and early 2015, and three more EPs would be released during that era. An EP titled awake/depressed/alive, released under two different names – Misc Music Mothership and Wilted Petals – would be the last release until 2017, when the name Tea was adopted and notable EPs Fog & Obscure and Winter were released.

Following a string of singles released through 2018, a lengthy hiatus ensued, lasting over five years until December 1, 2023, when the single maladaptive_daydreaming was released.
