Los Angeles-based artist Taylor Gray was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where his entire family championed R&B/soul music and its history. Growing up during the TRL era, Taylor gained an interest in audiovisual and futuristic elements of music seen at the time by artists such as Usher and Janet Jackson. This forward-thinking approach sets Taylor apart from other up-and-comers. In 2018, Taylor released his debut album TEO, which gained him notoriety as an R&B singer/songwriter to watch. With a growing interest in afrofuturism and dystopian reality, something groundbreaking is on the horizon with this next effort.

Taylor is also the curator for Flavor Waves which creates a spotlight for R&B artists trailblazing the industry.
