Chase Andrew Sheppard (born March 14, 2008) Better known by his nickname Chase Sheps or his stage name Tayed Smit, is a rapper and songwriter from Mount Vernon, Ohio. Tayed is most known for his collaborations with fellow artist Lil Sata, and his diss track “Database” that speaks out against various fellow school students and their unrightful possession of nude images of students.

Tayed is at the beginning of his career, and has only released two songs thus far, with only one of those being on streaming platforms. Tayed’s first and most popular release “Database” with Lil Sata was released May of 2022. This release was then followed by a sequel, “Man What?!” with Sata.

Tayed Smit’s music includes aggressive vocal inflections and smooth flows, finding holes in instrumentals and keeping a stable and impressive pace throughout each song. Tayed’s lyrics include disses to fellow classmates, speaking on present schoolwide controversies, political opinions and social conciousness, and braggadocious lines about his prominence and popularity in his town.
