Tanner Carlson

Tanner starting making music with just a guitar and his voice. After a church camp, Tanner bought a Yahama guitar and taught himself how to play. Over those years he would learn songs and upload them as covers on to Youtube where he first started gaining traction. He went on to record his debut EP titled “Perkins Point” in the summer before his sophomore year of high school after just one year of playing guitar. The following year, Tanner released his second EP titled “Boulder Lake” which featured an image of a ferris wheel from Galway, Ireland. The song “Friends” first started garnering streams after getting placed on a Top Songs of 2019 playlist that was promoted with a TikTok of over one million views.

Tanner went on to play for Belmont Univeristy’s soccer team while studying audio-engineering technology. In his freshman year, Tanner recorded the first EP in the trilogy of his home series. Tanner now lives in Nashville recording with artists, instrumentalists, vocalists, and producers. The long awaited “Stuck” EP is soon to be coming out on all streaming platforms.

Now living on his own, Tanner struggles with the everyday tasks of staying afloat while pursuing a career in music. Money, distance, time, and manipulative situations are the focus of this twenty year old’s fourth EP as he grapples with originality in the world of the industry.
