SYKI, formerly known as KILL.ZERO, is a recording artist and producer from Chicago, Illinois. Producing all of his own work, he carved out a lane he calls “OFF” — a self-created genre defined by its starkly unique, singular sound.

He first began uploading music to SoundCloud in late 2017, debuting with “pissed off.” Just a few months later, in March 2018, he gained serious underground attention with “whimpers in the darkness,” a collaboration with fellow Chicago rapper Juice WRLD. That summer, on June 19, 2018, the two released a joint EP titled KILL’S WRLD, further cementing his cult following. “pissed off” would soon follow, and his catalogue soon after.

His KILL.ZERO era touted a mysterious persona — rarely showing his face, revealing only fragments — deepening the intrigue around him and leaving a lot up to the imagination of his fans.

On June 22, 2020, he released his highly anticipated debut mixtape, HALLOW, his first major release in partnership with EMPIRE. It pulled together SoundCloud exclusives with new material, solidifying his reputation. His follow-up EP, ECLIPSE, arrived on November 26, 2021.

After three years without official releases, he reemerged in July 2025, rebranding from KILL.ZERO to SYKI ELIX (stylized as simply SYKI). Dawning this new era, for the first time, he revealed his face — marking a new chapter.
