Jacob Gallamore started recorded songs in his makeshift recording basement in 2021 at the age of 14. he had a clear vision in his head of his project and would continue to perfect his craft for a growing online following. He would record almost everywhere you could think of: his bedroom, kitchen, friends kitchens, upstairs at family gatherings, the car, almost everywhere. Equipment constraints and interesting recording layouts would make for a unique take on an indie rock sound and the use of DIY experimentation, making Strangers City a standout act in the indie community.
