Spoons is a Canadian new wave and pop band formed in 1980. Originating in Burlington, Ontario with band members Gord Deppe, Sandy Horne, Derrick Ross, and Rob Preuss, they have received public acclaim for their influence, including a nomination at the Juno Awards in 1983. The band has gone through a number of lineup changes, but is still active, with their latest album having released in 2019.
