SplitzDaGuru began making music in May of 2019 on an android phone. The way he would describe his music is through self expression, emotional, confidence, unique, and versatile. When it comes to SplitzDaGuru’s creative process it consists of it being mentially draining, stressful and time consuming. He goes through different phases which would be anger, happiness, doubt, regret and relief once it’s all over. This shit is therapy for him, overall a relief from life.

SplitzDaGuru’s come up is honestly not a normal one, it’s fun, exciting,and stressful as fuck. It started during the pandemic in 2019 in Franklinton, LA. Starting out to see where it goes,
from there he recorded “Ready” off an android phone. Mix and mastered the song through the phone, and that song took off. SplitzDaGuru received 60k streams on that song and it gave him the drive to see where he can go with this career. He then moved out to Westminster, CO where he then decided to take this music career seriously. He made a big step forward and opened the music label Sm0k3 Musik. Signed a couple of people, and then realized who was putting in the work and who was not. SplitzDaGuru also pushed them to show what they could do if they put in the work and achieved what they believed in. He pushed the label for a couple of months and then one night he got high as fuck and recorded “Y3ah im Da Shit” in his car in a hotel parking lot. It turned out better than he thought. He also met a lot of people through the music while taking it seriously after he saw a lot of people fuck with it.

While living in different hotels and with his family, brother, and his dog pushing the song paid off and he got 150k streams on it. He gained over 6,300 followers on spotify after
only having 300 so it really pushed SplitzDaGuru to go harder and he planned on dropping an EP. Then things kind of went South and plans didn’t shake in Colorado like they planned so they shot back home to the South. He then moved in with his brother Jah for a month and recorded “SPOTTUM” and “Go G3TUM” which were both freestyles. Throughout this time things did fall out so they had to move, his kids and old lady lived with their grandma and SplitzDaGuru was living with his other brother Ben. Then they got the family back together for a while and things fell out again so he was living in the car homeless for a month while his family went back to their grandmas. Then his brother got locked up over some bullshit and it caused him to fight to get him out while he was homeless so they racked up enough money to find a place. And get his brother out of jail to get him living with him.
SplitzDaGuru still dropped the EP though and is pushing it constantly while never stopping believing in himself and staying solid with everyone. You gotta “Always Move In Ways To Create Motion”, because that’s what got him here and he doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon. It’s just the start and he wants to thank everybody who had been there from the start and staying solid. Just know we’re gonna keep going up ain’t no stopping us! SplitzDaGuru’s inspiration to make music was due to how expressive music is. There are so many different ways to express emotions through music. Another inspiration of his is the way his kids take to the music too. His son and daughter love his music. Past situations, being able to talk about them, and different ways of handling them, so things don’t lead to dumb shit. All positive movements. Recording and making music are positive movements, positive ways to express emotions, you know instead of handling things in negative manners you can handle them in positive ways if you have the talent too, emotions or drive to do it.

You can expect a lot from SplitzDaGuru for real. Started from knowing nothing to knowing where he’s at now. So he can keep on going up. Keep meeting new people, keep making an
