Splitsing was a Dutch band out of the city of Groningen. The band formed during the summer of 1982, scoring its first and biggest hit, Wind En Zeilen three years later. The band disbanded in 1988, with members Peter Groot Kormelink (keys and vocals) and Herman Grimme (keys) forming De Jazzpolitie in 1990.
