soupandreas
AKA: Ethan Harrington Bailey, Ethan Bailey
Ethan Bailey began releasing music independently as soupandreas in 2014. He signed to Heroic Recordings in 2015 and released his debut EP, Palette EP, early the next year.
He signed to Monstercat later that year and released a total of five singles, with the final being a 2018 collaboration with iverness titled Hours for a Rocket League compilation album.
After parting ways with the label to work on other projects, he released an album in June of 2020 containing “a bunch of soupandreas stuff from 2016-2020 that i never posted.”
Ethan then shifted his focus to working on Good Morning Club, a band consisting of himself, Isaiah Hazzard, Sam Revaz, Dani Strigi, and Nick Panoutsos. Good Morning Club would also create a label of the same name that Ethan would later release his own music under.
Together they released a self-titled EP in June of 2020, and a second EP, GMC II, in July of 2023.
After a two year hiatus from the first EP with Good Morning Club, Ethan once again started releasing music as an independent artist under the band’s new label, with morris island / wastingwater in February of 2022.
In November, 2023, he dropped a single called face off under the name Tarnisher, marking the start of another new project.
His debut album under this name released in April of 2024 and is titled genius loci.
