Leicester-born, London-based SOFY (Sophie Howes) first began writing songs during the COVID-19 pandemic after being furloughed from her job. She experienced significant success from her debut single ‘Strawberry Milkshake’, as well as later release ‘Big Talk’ which was featured in the soundtrack of video game FIFA 23.

Howes has cited the Britpop genre as a key inspiration, and her musical/lyrical style has also frequently been likened to Lily Allen and hard life.

She is joined live by bandmates Edward Denholm (Bass), Will Raybould (Drums), Ben Gardiner (Guitar/Trumpet) and Sam Wildsmith (Guitar).
