Softspoken are a five-piece band from Cincinnati, Ohio in the USA. They stylize their sound as “modern post-hardcore”, but they fall somewhere in the hard rock/metal spectrum. Softspoken’s lineup consists of Sam Scheuer as the lead vocalist, Chris Wethington and Robbie Valdez as guitarists, Kevin Potts as the drummer, and Dylan Carter as the bassist and backup vocalist.

Softspoken grew up in the scene of the late 2010s (during the Warped Tour era) and the sounds and sights that they experienced during that time continue to influence their approach to writing and performing to this day.

Music connects, and music heals. No matter where one is from, whatever their background, whatever they’ve been through or are going through now, music has the power to heal.

Softspoken’s music allows people an opportunity to maintain their own balance in life, and also a way for them to connect with like-minded people who also see the importance of authenticity in art.
