Soft Construction is a solo DIY recording project by Derek Sasu Bampoh, based in London, UK. The project formed in 2020 after years of playing in alternative rock bands and producing rough home demos.

Since becoming publicly active, each release has seen significant shifts and variance in sound, exploring a fusion of influences and genres as wide as experimental rock, electronica, shoegaze, lo-fi, ambient, industrial metal and psychedelia.
