Sean Pross, SMK/S.M.K. (aka South Memphis King) is an American rapper, DJ and record producer from Memphis, TN. SMK is considered one of the Godfathers of Memphis rap and he is credited as a key figure in the popularization and glorification of the Memphis “Gangsta Walk,” which is a well known dance style.

His production influenced a style that was later developed into what became the sound of Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy and Timbaland. He has also produced for other major artist such as:
