Based in Kuala Lumpur, SMESTA is an emo rock band form in late 2021. The current lineups consists of Kopi (Vocalist), Adam (Lead guitarist), Zakuan (Rhythm guitarist), Sandro (Bassist) and Mior (Keyboard) later joined by Puteq (Drummer). The group has been actively jamming together since early 2022. Smesta’s sound can be described energetic, youthful, sad, angry and also fun.


They release their first single called “Kota Sengsara” in June 2022 with great reception from the public and scene. They have since played shows around Malaysia.

In 2023, they released their debut EP titled “Rotten Fantasy”. It receives
