Nicholas Walker Berthold, better known as Slowkiing (formerly New York Nico), is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Missouri.

In addition to being a former member of the bands Treebeard (Guitar), Glory Days (Guitar and drums), and Violence Labs (Keys), he is known to release music of his own to his SoundCloud account, which comprises many instrumentals and remixes of popular songs.

He is a longtime friend of rapper-producer Oliver Francis, having appeared in many music videos of his, and even collaborating with him on the project “orange peels.”
