Slow Roosevelt is a hard rock band from Dallas, Texas. They were prolific hard rock artists in the Deep Ellum area. In 1996, they released their first album, Starving St. Nick, followed by Throwawayyourstereo in 1998 and their final studio album Weightless in 2001. In 2004, they played their final show before breaking up. However, they reunited in 2009 and 2010 for live performances as well as in 2017 at The Bomb Factory. They are still active online and are releasing a collectors' vinyl edition of Weightless in April 2021.
