Slay Squad is a rap metal band based in San Bernardino County, California. They first formed in 2013 originally as a hip-hop group, with their first major releasing being Think Less, Trap More, released on August 15, 2013.

The group would then follow up with their next release being a double release: Stick to the Plan and Souls for the Feast, both released on January 11, 2016. While Stick to the Plan primarily focused more on a hip-hop sound the group originated from, Souls for the Feast marked the official transition to their new sound on all of their future releases, leaning into the Death Metal genre. The group would then take a two year hiatus, with their next release being Queasy, released on October 29, 2018.

From there, the group would continue to slowly release a slew of singles in the span of 2019 to 2025, with certain tracks such as “BEAM,” “GUMBO,” “MOS,” “New Years,” and “Fye Fye Fye” all gathering attention through social media, the latter three receiving a On The Radar performance, as well as performing live and collaborating with other artists and bands such as Limp Bizkit, Ho99o9, Nascar Aloe, DIRTYBUTT and many more.

On January 16, 2026, the band band would earn themselves a spot on A$AP Rocky’s “STFU” on his forth studio album Don’t Be Dumb, giving the band a huge recognition push. A speculative debut studio album is rumored for a 2026 release.
