Launching his career out of Toronto, Canada, Siydock brings to the scene a unique style of guitar music, characterized by percussive elements blended with sudden twists of sound. At one moment, it may provoke imagery of a folk singer, then turning to tender guitar melodies before changing to bluesy rock with the snap of a finger. Combined with his cryptic but catchy lyrics, he creates a performance whose form cannot be mimicked nor easily upstaged.
