Silvi is young queer artist from Chicago, IL. Through a lyrics-focused approach to songwriting combined with emotion-packed melodies and a perpetually shifting sound, Silvi seeks to capture fleeting moments of harmony and dissonance in her ever-evolving world.
She began recording songs in her small bedroom studio, releasing her debut, self-produced EP, Ambedo, as an experiment and introduction. Upon falling in love with the process of music creation, Silvi began to grow more adventurous in what she created, and with the help and contributions of producer Kersey Dickerson, released Yikes! in September of 2019. Yikes! is the first single off of Silvi’s debut album, Orange Era, marking the start of a new, highly-personal, exciting, and eclectic turn in the young artist’s career.
