Silvercade was a Peterborough, Ontario-based hard rock band. The band formed in 2006, with vocalist Ryan Harris previously being in local band Back Against the Wall with the other members (bassist Trevor Cox, drummer Andrew Tighe, and guitarist Joel Tymchuk) having been part of another local band named NoAlternative. They would release a self-titled debut album on May 14, 2007 before disbanding in 2010 after arguments between the band led to a hiatus, eventually causing members to leave the band altogether.
