Shekcate is the musical project of Artist Monica Suzanne who was born and raised in the Philippines – currently based in Los Angeles. She’s a multi-faceted artist who brings feminine power through her art. Her musical style mixes elements of dance, pop, r&b and hip-hop that all started in her room. Her talent as a songwriter came to her as a surprise flow of music that uplifts and awaken the soulfire and child-like innocence.

From a young age she has always believed, that imagination is important in creating reality, “thoughts become things. You can create anything you can imagine.” She has been working on projects including “Concious Femme” and “SYNAE”. And she’s creating and finding more unique ways with her art to send message of empowerment and spirituality.
