Born and raised in Springfield, Minnesota; Shane always knew he wanted to be an artist. After many years of the pursuit for purpose in 2017, at 17 years old, he committed to his lifelong dream of making music under the alias “marchblues” after hearing the uniqueness of Lil Peep and Lil Tracy’s “witchblades”.

During his senior year of high school he began diving deep into drug and alcohol addiction after dabbling slightly. His experiences would eventually lead him to not only convert from atheism to New Age, but ultimately giving his life to Christ in the early hours of October 26th, 2019 while listening to his favorite artist Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King”.

After his conversion Shane decided under the influence of the Holy Spirit to give up his music career. With little to no spiritual resources he struggled mightily including relapsing with 6 months of sobriety. During that summer he made the decision to leave his parents’ house in Springfield and move to Winona, Minnesota because of what he believed he had heard God speak to him in prayer.

July 15th, 2020; Shane made the move to Winona and found his forever home on Earth. With many creative aspirations outside of music he began working on a book and interviewing fellow residents which would lead him to deepening his faith by beginning to attend church at Pleasant Valley in Winona as well as immersing himself in the Bible, two things he was really afraid of because of his Catholic upbringing.

In the spring of 2021; Shane felt called and led back to music, but this time with the inspiration to glorify God and spread the Gospel through his art. That summer he made his first Christian song “Holywood” produced by Marc Vanparla. From that point on there was and continues to be immense trials and tribulations in his life. That being said, Shane has never abandoned his faith even in the lowest of moments.
