Shadow Academy is a prog rock duo made up of Dan Avidan, one half of the comedy rock band Ninja Sex Party, and Emmy Award-winning producer and songwriter Jim Roach.

After years of working together, and a sharing a passion for bands like Rush and Muse, they wanted to create something with no real goal in mind besides personal achievement. Their debut self-titled album takes the listener through a boundless story with heavy, cinematic music and Dan’s ethereal voice as a guide.
