Sedrick Burden, professionally known as Seddy Hendrinx, is an American recording artist and singer from Jacksonville, Florida.

Adopting a stage name inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Future’s inspired alias, Future Hendrix, he began sharing tracks on SoundCloud, gaining early buzz to his unofficial remix of “Exchange” by Bryson Tiller. That spark set off a prolific run of projects like The Roots, Just Kause EP and Death B4 Dishonor: Loyalty Over Everything.

In 2019, his breakout single “Lowkey” would lead him to a deal with DJ Drama, signing a joint-venture deal with Generation Now and Atlantic Records. With his major-label debut Roots II, Seddy earned a spot on Future’s 1800 Seconds, Vol. 2 and collaborating with the likes of Jack Harlow, G Herbo and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

In 2021, Seddy Hendrinx started the label Florida Boy Entertainment. Focusing on elevating talent from his hometown of Jacksonville, he would work with rising artists like Khop and producers including Swagg Boy and J Hype.

His 2022 Gangsta Grillz mixtape Well Sed further cemented his versatility, featuring T-Pain, Fivio Foreign and production from Sonny Digital. This would make him only the second Florida artist after Plies to ever release a Gangsta Grillz project.

Raised amid hardship, including time spent in a homeless shelter, and being deeply shaped by the tragic loss of his best friend Johnell in 2016, the emerging Jacksonville artist is building a legacy rooted in resilience, introspection and soulful truth.
