Sean O’Hagan (born 1964 in London, England) is an Irish-English musician, songwriter, and arranger best known as the leader of The High Llamas and a former member of Microdisney. His music blends lush arrangements, bossa nova, and chamber pop influences, often compared to Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks.
O’Hagan has also collaborated with artists such as Stereolab and Super Furry Animals, making him a central figure in British avant-pop since the 1990s.
