Seán Dagher

Seán Dagher is an active performer, arranger, and composer of music inspired by various folk and classical music traditions: Medieval, Baroque, Arabic, Celtic, Quebecois, and from the Maritimes. He sings and plays Irish bouzouki, mandolin, oud, and banjo, and is a founding member of Skye Consort. Seán has provided arrangements for ensembles and artists across Europe and North America. He is well-known for his singing on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed video game series and for his own Shanty of the Week video series. Artistic Co-director of La Nef, Seán has composed and has been the musical director of numerous creations and albums, for young audience and general public, such as La Traverse miraculeuse, Trobaïritz, Dowland in Dublin, The People’s Purcell, The American Art Song and Sea Songs & Shanties which your in Canada, United States and France. Over the years, his work has been recognized by various awards.
