SAPPH1R3

SAPPH1R3 (often abbreviated as SAPH) is an underground artist hailing from Oklahoma. He is the founder and frontman of the SOLD OUT MORGUE collective. His music lives at a niche intersection of emo rap, internet-era melancholy, and raw self-documentation. Known for blending emotional vulnerability with darker aesthetics, his work often reflects cycles of burnout, obsession, rebirth, and ambition. He’s gone on record to state his biggest influences, those being the likes of Sematary and the entire Haunted Mound, Rxseboy, XXXTENTACION, Harlow Road, and even bands like Duster and Calm. SAPPH1R3’s available catalog spans from 2022 to 2026, although there are SEVERAL unreleased and lost projects dating as far back as 2020.

SAPH began making music in 2020 at just ten years old, uploading early singles and projects to YouTube under various names, including CUB1C, Lil Knox, and briefly SAPPH1R3. Those early releases — heavily inspired by artists like XXXTENTACION and Juice WRLD — were rough, emotional, and formative, though nearly all of them have since been lost. After cycling through multiple monikers and platforms, he officially relaunched as SAPPH1R3 in early 2023. His first song on streaming services, Headspace, marked the true beginning of his public discography, followed by a steady run of singles, EPs, and his debut mixtape Shattered Dreams in March 2023. Later that year, releases like Havok sharpened his sound, while joining the collective Big Dream Records helped expand his creative circle — including his first work with longtime collaborator NYJAH.

By 2024, SAPH began developing a small but dedicated following on SoundCloud, drawn in by tracks like CORONATION DAY, Poison, and SKINWALKER, one of his biggest songs. That momentum led to the release of as above, so below in April 2024, a mixtape that solidified his place within a niche corner of the underground. Later that year, he released the EP alive and shifted much of his focus toward building SOLD OUT MORGUE, a collective he founded in December 2023, shortly after departing from Big Dream Records on good terms. In early 2025, he released the mixtape rot., followed shortly by MEADOWS, by far his most successful song to date. However, the abrupt cancellation of his collaborative project with DEATHBXY, BLOOD STAINED HEAVEN, alongside real life drama and consequences regarding the lyrics of a few of his songs led to prolonged burnout and a temporary hiatus, marking a difficult but necessary pause in his trajectory.

Returning later in 2025 with renewed clarity, SAPH began a more focused and ambitious era. He released archive material, standalone singles, and launched the hallway soundtrack series, experimenting with mood-driven releases and seasonal concepts. That momentum carried into mourningstar and ultimately LORD OF THE DEAD, his most ambitious mixtape yet, which quickly became his most widely received project. Alongside music, SOLD OUT MORGUE evolved into a tangible brand through live shows and an established merch store. Now entering 2026, SAPH stands at the start of a new chapter, ready to take himself and the SOLD OUT MORGUE to the top of the underground.
