Sankalp is a 24 year old Indian singer – songwriter / multi-instrumentalist. It all started when he received a guitar on his 10th birthday. Having moved to a new school, Sankalp found his place in the new environment through music. Due to the lack of teachers, his passion quickly turned into obsession which led him to Imitating his favourite artists’ on YouTube as a way to learn. He eventually started sharing his own covers ( garnering international attention ). After being introduced to Coldplay by his cousin, he was inspired to sing and write.

Sankalp’s music is an extension of his thoughts, blending his abilities as musician with his talent as a producer and engineer, which gives his music a unique characteristic that accompanies his melodious vocals and falsettos. Being a performer and a fan of live music, Sankalp loves creating anthemic songs with crowd singalongs, giving his songs an evocative and atmospheric feel.

His recent move to experiment with writing in Hindi as well as English has led to the creation of his Debut Hindi EP @Neele Aasmaan, out now
