Ayodeji Sangode whose stage name “Sangold” , was born in Lagos, Nigeria where he lived until he migrated to the United States at the age of 18 years old.
Sangold began his music career in the spring of 2020, as a means to remain occupied and continue to sharpen his creativity amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although it was originally a fun escape from his new reality, Sangold took an immense gratification towards the music making process and here we are.
