Jamie Flatters (born July 7, 2000), who makes music under the alias sandy crow, is a musician, actor, and filmmaker from South London.

He got his start in the creative industry as a child actor, known for his supporting roles in CBBC’s So Awkward (2015-2020) and ITV’s Liar (2017-2020).

Later on, Flatters went on to land roles in several major films, including the Avatar film franchise (2022-present) and Netflix’s The School for Good and Evil (2022). Flatters has also directed, produced, written, and starred in a multitude of short and feature films, including SHOULDERS (2024) and the award-winning Black Dog (2023).

The first glimpse of Flatters as sandy crow came on October 24th, 2022, when Flatters uploaded a demo titled “The Deepest End” on his Instagram. It would later be uploaded on his secondary YouTube channel alongside other demos and video art.

sandy crow’s first official release came on March 6th, 2024 with his debut EP LEARNING 037 which contained the tracks “LEARNING 037” and “Ur best day”. sandy crow went on to release several more singles and showcase working demos in the lead up to his first studio album, which was announced via social media in April 2026.

The single “Fresh Dirt” from sandy crow’s first studio album, It Hurts Fantastic, was released on May 1, 2026, followed by the album’s release on June 3.
