Sammy Phase is the stage name for Samuel Peters, a heteronym of Ricky Jamaraz, having his first appearance on the song ‘Sammy’ from his seventh album.

Sammy exists in the Jamaraz Music Universe (JMU), the same place where the ‘Dec. 13th 1998’ storyline takes place. The tickets to a show that the protagonists Chester and Marshall go to, mentioned in the track Together, is actually a Sammy Phase gig.

To emulate the sound of a low budget recording setup from the 90’s, Ricky uses a 4-track cassette recorder instead of his usual 8-track for this project.
