Samantha Jade Gibbs (born 18 April 1987) is an Australian singer, songwriter, actress and former child model from Perth, Western Australia.

She began recording music and songwriting in 2003 when she was signed to Affinity/Camp West management in LA by Johnell Harris and Ty Knox. In this time she had several album and single placements including JoJo, Tiffany Evans and Ashley Tisdale.

She was then also signed to Universal Music and Jive/Zomba, as an artist through her management company Affinity/Camp West.

She recorded 100s of tracks for her planned debut album, My Name Is Samantha Jade and released three singles Step Up, Turn Around and Eyes On Me, The final single release however was stalled and eventually cancelled after disagreement with her management company meant she left LA and her record deal to return to Australia.

On 20 November, 2012 Gibbs won the fourth season of The X Factor Australia. She subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released her winner’s single “What You’ve Done to Me”.

She went on to release her first album of original material ‘Nine’ in 2015, again through Sony.

She stayed with Sony Records until around 2021, when she became an independent artist, releasing the EPs Love Sick Parts 1 & 2 in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
