RuPaul Andre Charles, best known mononymously as RuPaul, is an American actor, drag queen, model, author, and recording artist, who first became widely known in the 1990s with his single “Supermodel (You Better Work)”

He hosts his own television show, RuPaul’s Drag Race, in which drag queens compete for becoming America’s Next Drag Superstar.
