Ronnie C is an American songwriter, producer, composer, and recording artist from Fayetteville, NC. To describe Ronnie C’s music in one word would be borderline impossible. But several words to define his sound would be: authentic, unconventional, and ground-breaking. Since a youth, Ronnie C has had a propensity to make music, but his talents were not brought to light until his mid-teens.

Ronnie C never had plans to become the musician he is today. It actually all came about by pure coincidence. At the age of 16 while celebrating his older brother Frank’s graduation from college, Ronnie was allowed to have his first sip of liquor. As the sun went down, and the level of innebriation went up, Frank; a talented rapper in his own respect, proceeded to freestyle battle Ronnie C in front of his family. Whether he was somewhat embarrassed by his brother’s lyrical attack, or just had enough, Ronnie uttered his first lyrics. The reply of the small crowd was one of surprise, utter amazement, and it was immediately followed by people chanting, “keep going Ronnie, keep going Ronnie.” That night, a musician was born.

Over the years Ronnie C has amassed an archive of over 500 songs and close to 70,000 beats. Ronnie is notorious for taking the craft extremely seriously, both music and businesswise. This is particularly noteworthy when you consider the fact that he writes, records, produces, engineers, mixes, and creates all of his own music and album art from his home by himself.
