Ron Dante (born Carmine John Granito) is an Italian American composer, performer, and producer with a career spanning all the way back to the sixties to this day. Some of his best-known works include the singing voice of Archie Andrews of The Archies, as well as discovering and producing Barry Manilow.

In 1969, Dante sang on two top ten hits going uncredited; The Archies' Sugar Sugar (#1) and The Cuff Links' Tracy (#9).

Though he’s 80, this virtuoso continues working in the music industry. He currently tours as a lead singer with The Turtles, replacing Howard Kaylan (who retired due to health issues).
