Rob Level
Rob Level (born Robert Novak), previously know by the stage name Novi Novak, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and inspirational figure.
Known for his clever wordplay, emotion evoking real talk style, and deep subject matter, he has actually been on the front page of Rap Genius (Before it was just ‘Genius’) as ‘Top 5 Most Lyrical Of The Month’.
Rob Level was born and raised in a notoriously dangerous part of South Side Chicago. At 5 he was given up by his mother for adoption as his father was dying from brain tumors who died shortly after. After years in homes, last chance gang schools, juvenile detention centers, homeless shelters, and jail, he was able to turn his experiences into inspiration through his music.
He has released seven albums and mixtapes, has charted top 100 on iTunes, written songs for major artists and has had his music posted everywhere from TMZ, ABC, MSNBC, Buzz Feed, Huffington Post, Complex Music and more.
He is also known for his viral “Tattoo My Life” video detailing his challenging childhood growing up without parents or guidance in a dangerous part of South Side Chicago.
Rob first came on the scene when his remix of “Black and Yellow” went viral in 2011. He is also the owner of Smart Rapper, an education-based website that offers courses on music industry strategy, songwriting, and rap technique.
He also owned a a massive social media agency that was able to boast Fortune 500 Companies and the Getty Family as some of his clients. Rob shut down the social media agency, took the money he made from it and scaled Smart Rapper to be the number 1 educational platform in the entire music industry.
