Rize is a japanese alternative metal band, founded on 1997 in Japan, who debutted in 2000 with their first album Rookey.

The band is composed currently by vocalist and guitarist Jesse Mcfaddin, drummer Nobuaki Kaneko and bassist Kensuke “KenKen” Kaneko, Nobuaki’s younger brother.

Currently, the band is stiil on hiatus after Jesse and Kensuke were found guilty of violating the Cannabis Control Law, on July 20th 2019.
