Ring 13 was a high school aged punk band from the early to mid 80s and formed in DeKalb, Illinois. The band is made up of Bruce Halverson (Vocals, Guitar), Scott Gelwicks (Bass, Backup Vocals), and Dan Boardman (Drums, Backup Vocals). They released one album titled “Nothing New, Nothing Learned” originally released on cassette and released on vinyl in 2017. Two of their songs were also released on a Dial-a-Trance cassette compilation. In the late 00s, they reformed and played several shows.
