Katrina Itorralba, popularly known as Rin, is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter that started her music journey from writing love songs in her bedroom to posting lo-fi videos and covers online. She embodies the spirit of the modern-day bedroom songwriter with a true digital native with a raw, heartfelt voice. Rin picked up the guitar during the pandemic, learning to play her favorite songs. That curiosity soon evolved into a desire to write her own music.

In the summer of 2023, she penned her first song recorded simply on her MacBook and uploaded it to social media without a second thought. By the next day, the video had taken off, resonating with listeners who connected deeply with her vulnerability. That track, “just me (demo)”, became her debut release and the starting point of her journey as an artist.

Rin’s music radiates a kind of wide-eyed sincerity that’s both refreshing and nostalgic. Her debut EP mended heart, released in October 2024, marks the beginning of her coming-of-age story—an honest reflection of growth, heartbreak, and the pure emotion that comes from telling your story exactly as you feel it.

Rin’s debut studio album fawn was released on August 29, 2025. The album was an accumulation of how she was very shy and hyper aware about how she shared her life.
