Ride are an English alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1988. The band consists of vocalists and guitarists Andy Bell and Mark Gardener, drummer Laurence “Loz” Colbert and bassist Steve Queralt.

After becoming one of the leading lights of the “shoegazing” scene, the band broke up in 1996, with guitarist Andy Bell going on to stints in Oasis and Beady Eye. The band reunited in 2014.
