His career began with the privately released single Bella, which was followed with the EPs What’s the Difference Anyway? (2019) and Hope, Hold On and Hang In There (2020). In late 2020, he released a short film based on Hope, Hold On and Hang In There and the film’s soundtrack.

After taking a ten month hiatus, Rhys released a set of singles simply known as The Complete Trilogy in 2021. At the end of the year, he also released a compilation album, 2017 – 2021. From 2022-2023, he released the BFOP trilogy, in addition to a short film tying the songs together and the soundtrack to the film.

In 2024, Rhys released his first full-length studio album, Monophobia. To promote the album, Rhys held a sold out launch gig at Night Owl Studios in Morely, Western Australia.

Shortly after Monophobia’s release, Rhys placed his career as a solo musician on an indefinite hiatus so he could focus on a new project of his, Stimulėyės. As part of this, he deleted all of his old material from streaming services in a move called The Deletion of Rhys Prosser, which had an accompanying short film, and he rebranded himself to “Rhys F P”. Stimulėyės' first release, Has It Kicked In Yet? released in September of 2024, consisting of five unedited tracks from Monophobia.
