Remorsefully Numb is a emo/post-hardcore band from Kansas City, Missouri, formed in 2016.

Remorsefully Numb released their Debut EP ‘Fairmount’ on October 22nd 2018. In an article with Discovered Magazine ‘Fairmount’ was described as having “slight versatility within the song selection, and the healthy hits of emotion and experiences spread into the mix” also adding that “Making a mark in the alternative scene is never easy, as a genre the never weakens nor dies. However, there’s something about Remorsefully Numb’s work on their debut EP ‘Fairmount’ that makes it a fair attempt.”

On June 18th 2019 Remorsefully Numb released their single ‘Forfeit’. In an interview with Anti Music Andrew said “‘Forfeit’ tells a tale of someone who has acknowledged that they have not been the person they should have been to someone. Secrecy and lies have started to weigh on their conscience and they know that soon they will either be caught or will have to throw in the towel and call it quits, letting the other person know the truth.” Stereo Stickman had this to say “Forfeit feels like a hit from yesteryear in many ways, the sort of track that would grace the stage at Leeds Festival back in the day yet seems all but gone from the airwaves in recent years. Despite that nostalgia though, Remorsefully Numb offer a refreshing fusion of melody and grit – crisp and clean guitars contrast with fuzz and intensity, the leading vocalist also performs in a freely expressive and meandering fashion that underlines delicacy and power intermittently.” and also added “All of this is stylistic, musical, of course – underneath it all is the songwriting, and this is where so many bands fall short. In this case, Forfeit is a genuinely fascinating song, structured in a manner that effectively represents the story-line by means of every single element – not just the lyrics.”

Heading into 2020, Remorsefully Numb began the year with a tour in January and were scheduled to be back on the road again in March. However because of the COVID-19 Pandemic this was not a possibility. With only live stream events taking place and few artists releasing music, on June 18th 2020, one year to the date, Remorsefully Numb released ‘Sapling’ a follow up single to ‘Forfeit’. Andrew told Pens Eye View “Definitely if you have listened to us before, expect the story of our song ‘Forfeit’ to continue, and if you are listening to us for the first time, then listen to that song first.“ In a premier with New Noise Magazine, Andrew had this to say, "‘Sapling’ discusses the aftermath of losing someone because of your own selfish ways and not opening up and just being transparent with that person,” Also stating, “Even when you think you’ve begun to heal yourself, you still bury away those things and have failed again to fully break away from your current position.”

On August 25th 2020, Remorsefully Numb announced via their social media pages that their first LP had been recorded, with a released date yet to be announced.
