Rectangles is a band formed in Pittsburgh, PA through a group of childhood friends. The band was seemingly formed sometime in 2014 as a video of 2 members performing an unreleased song known as “Magenta” (later known as “Dead Again”/“Dead”) is available from that time.

Comprised of Spencer Roeback, most known for formerly making music with indie artist Jack Stauber in the past, Doug Keener, and Tyler Jason Clark, most known for his previous solo projects on Soundcloud like his song “Énouement”, which Spencer reposted onto his account, or his “Focus” EP from 2022 with Spencer being featured on a track.

The band would release their debut album in 2026, “In Unison” seemingly out of nowhere with Spencer promoting the album on his Soundcloud.
