Reason|Define was a hard rock/post harcore band from Charlotte, North Carolina. They released their debut album ‘Far from Strangers’ in early 2017, a few months after winning Best Rock Band of the Year at the Carolina Music Awards.

A Light Divided’s lead singer Jaycee Clark put Reason|Define on her list of favorite female-fronted bands in an interview with Pure Grain Audio, and MCXV’s Patricia Jones said,

These ladies have proven to have the tenacity and passion for manifesting their dreams into reality and the talent to back it up.”

The band’s final lineup consisted of frontwoman Paolina Massaro, guitarists Sav Ruff and Shelby McVicker, bassist Caitlin Rutkowski, and drummer Syd McVicker.

In 2020, the band announced their breakup via their official Instagram account. It is unknown whether the individual members plan to pursue music further.
