Athenkosi Breakfast better known by his stage name is RealTau ,he grew up in Eastern Cape Port Elizabeth.”lt was
1994 when l was cracking outta my shell ,grew under hate,when l started rapping at the age of 12”.These few
lines quoted from the spoken TAU give you a little flashback about his history known as RealTau who was born
in Motherwell Port Elizabeth where he do his primary school and his high school at Masipathisane Senior
Secondary School and his primary he do in Mpumalanga Primary School then he moved to Melisizwe Primary
School to finish up my grade 7.I Grow up in musical enviro,my father was once a gospel leader and a
conductor in a church choir,my mother was a good vocalist,at school and church influences,it is a really no
coincidence,artistic skills and a way of touching hearts and mind through music. therefore In 2015 l moved to
CapeTown Fishhoek in a small township called Masiphumelele.

Better known as “Real Tau”,he is well respected luminary in the field of music and arts.RealTau in past few
years who is groomed to greatness through the collaborate with the well known artist called
Mavesta,N.Q.O,MadnessCPT,Mxozza and groups Team Native and Muji Records which l head them topping in
events and radio stations.
I then decide to start my own projects and release my mixtape in 2013 called (My Life) which was consisting of
16 songs .ln the mixtape i also work with Black Angels,Muji ,Shaykin Records,Hit Wonder ,Pronoun ,Hustler
,Flip and Mfura from S.I.M crew.We performed in events that were huge for young and vibrant rappers ,like
CAN DO TOUR high profile event.It was an honour to perform with well known
celebrities(Chomee,Ntando,Arthur Mafokane).The event was held in Motherwell peace park in 2014.In 2015 l
got an opportunity to open the stage on Redds Carnival was in Summerstrand, there were well known artists
like iFani,Ricky Rick,Major League Djs,Dreamteam and many more.RealTau formed a Movement called
GetUpMovent,where is associating with respected artist around the country.
l have made my own gigs in local bars and made some few tours around Eastern
Cape:Alexandra,humansdorp,addo,Lusikisiki,Kirkwood,Grahamstown,Port Alfred,Mthatha and plett.late 2017 I
dropped an album(Sky Is The Limit) l worked with Coastal line Records,Yashmah,Hope,King Lhuu,
EaveHoliday,MadnessCPT,Cater,Flip-G, Leonardo, GoldenCityBeats, MultiverseBeats,Matic(Imbali Music) &
Multiverse Records.My aim is to keep my fans happy of what am doing in the music industry,I’m selling hard
copies at the moment and this coming June am planning to release the album digital.
Since am based in Cape Town FishHoek Masiphumelele I told my self that I want to put my name in the map as
I did In Eastern Cape.I worked with One2 Records,Rettex,Naivo,DemoCazy&Da’o were we making lot of
moves around Western Cape. I released a single song in September 2016 called ‘GetUp’(Vuka Emaqandeni)
and its a well known song around South Africa.In November 2017 we released Summer Banger with Da’O and
its doing well, we about to release a video for the song.last year (2018) we release Trap Terminator with
Naivo,DemoCrazy& N.Q.O from Durban, We were in a Tour this past June, we visited around the City’s in
South Africa.We held Radio interviews and TV interview (Ugu Youth Radio/Sunny South fm-KZN/Madiba
Radio/Bay fm/Nqubela fm-Pe and Bay tv)We perform on Jazz festival in Durban,we done local events in
PE,Perform on one of the Biggest Events like ‘Club7,Muizenberg Festival, Summer Festival,Determination
Tour’ and other places.I entered the biggest competition in the Country called Mzantsi Funderland talent
