When most people think of Delaware, they think of Scrapple, being the first state to approve the Constitution, or Rehoboth Beach. Raykoa — born Reagan Coder on August 14, 2006, in Felton, Delaware, is aiming to put his own name alongside those staples as one of the state’s most hardworking and resilient emerging artists.

Raykoa first stepped into music in 2019 at only 12 years old under the name Lil Soda Vert, releasing his debut single “Use Code BadSoda23,” a fun Fortnite-inspired promo song. Just a few months later, his life changed dramatically when his mother, Dawn, passed away from alcohol poisoning at 33 years old. The tragedy pushed him away from music for nearly two years.

In 2021, he returned with a new level of focus and motivation. Collaborating with artist he met on Discord, Tyz on “Back 2 Back,” discovering Voloco, and networking through online spaces like the r/TravisScott Discord community helped him begin building momentum again. Later that year, he released his debut album, The World Is Yours. Early projects such as Finest Hours reflected his drive while also teaching him important lessons about sound quality and execution.

After investing in better gear — including a laptop and a Blue Yeti Nano microphone — Raykoa entered a more polished stage of his career with the release of “Close Game” in October 2022. His 2023 album The Comeback became a defining moment, serving as his first fully story-focused project and featuring a music video for “American Dream.” In 2024, he followed it up with THE ESTABLISHMENT, where “CASINO” developed into an underground favorite. The video for the track, filmed inside Bally’s Dover Casino & Resort, picked up attention after support from Twitch creators IcyKore and Dead4Life, although filming there also led to him being temporarily banned from the casino.

On the anniversary of his mother’s passing in 2025, Raykoa released the emotional project THE WARRIORS, with “Wild West” quickly becoming a standout among fans. Later that same year, heartbreak inspired what many listeners consider his best and most personal release so far: The Real Will Prosper in January 2026, featuring Adog and OldPets, followed shortly by the Fast Times in Felton EP.

On May 27th, 2026, Raykoa released Will God Take Us?, a fully Christian rap album that marks a major new direction in his artistry.

Even with attention from several A&Rs and serious interest from Interscope, he has chosen to stay independent through DREAMERS COLLECTIVE and his own imprint, Just Dream.

From making songs on two phones to earning placements on national playlists and slowly building a dedicated cult fanbase, Raykoa’s story is fueled by loss, perseverance, and nonstop ambition. He isn’t simply pursuing the title of Delaware’s biggest artist — he’s creating a legacy of his own.
