Born and raised in East London, growing up in a musical family, Rachel Sandy began producing and writing music in her home studio at the age of 13. Inspired by classical music and the film soundtracks of her childhood, Rachel independently learned to play several instruments including classical piano and guitar. By the age of 15, Rachel was writing full symphonic scores and experimenting with music production.
Furthermore, she became viral on TikTok for composing parodies of artists like Lana del Rey, Melanie Martinez, Lorde, Charlie Puth, and other artists.
The now 18-year-old composer aims to pursue a full-time career in film composition, whilst exploring her own artistry through personal projects and instrumental works.
