“R U Next?” is a South Korean reality competition show that aired in 2023. It was created by HYBE and JTBC to form a new global girl group under the agency BELIFT LAB. The show featured 22 contestants who competed in seven rounds, each testing different skills like potential, professionalism, and creativity.
The show lasted for 10 episodes, airing from June 30, 2023, to September 1, 2023. The final lineup consisted of six members who debuted as the group “ILLIT.” However, one member, Youngseo, left the pre-debut lineup, and the group officially debuted with five members in March 2024

ILLIT (아일릿; I’LL-IT; short for I Will Be It) is a South Korean girl group under BELIFT LAB. It consists of five members: Yunah (윤아), Minju (민주), Moka (모카), Wonhee (원희), and Iroha (이로하).

The group was finalized in September 2023 through the reality show R U Next? made in a collaboration between HYBE and JTBC. Originally, the girls who ranked as the final top six were planned to debut as group I’LL-IT. However, in January 2024, BELIFT LAB announced that Youngseo (영서) wouldn’t be a part of the group.

They made their debut on March 25th, 2024 with their first mini-album, SUPER REAL ME.
