With Palestinian and Dutch roots, QAQ is an independent artist influenced by a variety of cultures from across the world. From a young age, QAQ has lived in multiple continents and 8 different countries he tried to call home. Although he was accustomed to the process of sudden change and adaption, one important thing he carried with him was his music.

From depicting harsh realities in Jerusalem to exploring his own thoughts and emotions, QAQ’s music holds a versatile element to it whilst still paying homage and seeing the beauty in Old School Hip Hop styles. At 21 years of age, QAQ has managed to strike a balance between the roots of Hip Hop and the ever-changing approaches to this genre which develops every day.

QAQ has released numerous singles and one most recent mixtape titled “Roach Tapes”. The mixtape produced, recorded, and mixed by Paul Adrian touches upon issues of identity and rank in society as an ethnic minority, from the particular perspective of a Palestinian. The tape highlights a balance of introspective thoughts and a recurring theme of oppression which QAQ considers an important issue, as reflected in his music. QAQ has also collaborated with producers like Robbie Koex who produced “Source” on Roach Tapes.
